JoAnn E. Manson is an American physician and epidemiologist known for her pioneering research in the fields of women's health, cardiovascular disease, cancer prevention, and public health. She is a professor at Harvard Medical School and the Chief of the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

JoAnn E. Manson was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry. She then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she received her MD degree. Manson also holds a MPH degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
