Kisii University is a public university located in Kisii, Kenya. It was established in 1965 as a primary teacher’s training college with a small intake of students. Over the years, it has grown and evolved, receiving its university charter in 2013, which marked its official recognition as a full-fledged university. Kisii University has since expanded its academic offerings and now provides a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across various fields, including medicine, education, law, business, agriculture, and information technology, among others.
