Kwok Ka-ki (Chinese: 郭家麒

born 20 July 1959) is a Hong Kong politician and medical doctor. He served as a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo) representing the New Territories West constituency from 2004 to 2020. He is a member of the Civic Party.

Early life and education[edit | edit source]

Kwok was born in Hong Kong on 20 July 1959. He attended University of Hong Kong where he obtained his medical degree. He later specialized in urology and became a practicing medical doctor.

Political career[edit | edit source]

Kwok began his political career as a member of the Central and Western District Council, representing the Sai Ying Pun constituency from 2000 to 2003. In 2004, he was elected to the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo) representing the New Territories West constituency. He was re-elected in subsequent elections and served until 2020.

During his tenure in LegCo, Kwok was known for his advocacy on healthcare issues and his support for democracy and human rights in Hong Kong. He was a vocal critic of the Hong Kong government and its policies, particularly in relation to the 2019–20 Hong Kong protests.

Personal life[edit | edit source]

Kwok is married and has children. He continues to practice medicine alongside his political activities.
