Magnus Heunicke (born 28 January 1975) is a Danish politician who has served as the Minister for Health and Senior Citizens since 2019. He is a member of the Social Democrats party.

Magnus Heunicke was born in Næstved, Denmark. He attended the University of Copenhagen, where he studied journalism.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Heunicke began his political career as a member of the Folketing, the Danish Parliament, in 2005. He has held various positions within the Social Democrats party and has been an active participant in Danish politics.

From 2014 to 2015, Heunicke served as the Minister for Transport. During his tenure, he focused on improving public transportation infrastructure and promoting sustainable transport solutions.
