Meta-DOB

Meta-DOB is a psychedelic drug and a structural analog of 2C-B. It is part of the DOB family of psychedelic phenethylamines.

Chemistry[edit | edit source]

Meta-DOB, also known as mDOB, is a phenethylamine derivative and shares structural similarities with other drugs in the DOB family, such as DOB, DOC, and DOI. It is characterized by the addition of a methoxy group at the 4-position of the phenyl ring.

Pharmacology[edit | edit source]

The exact mechanism of action of Meta-DOB is not fully understood. However, it is believed to act as a serotonin receptor agonist, similar to other psychedelic phenethylamines. This means it binds to and activates certain serotonin receptors in the brain, which leads to its psychedelic effects.

Effects[edit | edit source]

The effects of Meta-DOB are similar to those of other psychedelic phenethylamines and can include hallucinations, altered perception of time and space, enhanced introspection, and increased emotional sensitivity. However, the intensity and duration of these effects can vary greatly depending on the dose and individual's physiology.

Legality[edit | edit source]

The legality of Meta-DOB varies by country. In some countries, it is classified as a controlled substance, while in others it is legal to possess and use.
