Middle Africa is a region of the African continent that is situated in the central part of the continent. It is one of the five regions of Africa as defined by the United Nations. Middle Africa is characterized by its diverse geography, rich cultural heritage, and complex political landscape.

Middle Africa is bordered by West Africa to the west, East Africa to the east, and Southern Africa to the south.
