Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) is a prominent medical institution and hospital located in Patna, the capital city of the Bihar state in India. It was initially started as a private medical institution by Dr. Vijay Narayain Singh, Dr. Madhusudan Das, and Dr. Shailendra Kumar Sinha. However, in 1978, the Government of Bihar took over the administration of NMCH, transforming it into a public institution.
