Nancy Ip
Nancy Ip is a prominent neuroscientist and biochemist known for her significant contributions to the field of neuroscience. She is currently the Vice-President for Research and Development at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience.

Nancy Ip was born in Hong Kong. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at McGill University in Canada. She then pursued her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at Harvard University.

After completing her Ph.D., Nancy Ip worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in the United States, where she made significant contributions to the understanding of neurotrophic factors and their role in neurodegenerative diseases. In 1993, she returned to Hong Kong and joined HKUST, where she has held various academic and administrative positions.
