Orchid (charity) is a UK based charity that was established in 1996. It is dedicated to saving men's lives from testicular, prostate, and penile cancer through a range of support services, education, and awareness campaigns, as well as pioneering research.

Orchid was founded by Colin Osborne, a testicular cancer patient, and Dr. Tim Oliver, a leading oncologist. The charity was established to improve the lives of people affected by male cancers.
Activities[edit | edit source]
Orchid carries out a wide range of activities to achieve its mission. These include:
- Research: Orchid funds pioneering research into the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of male cancers. This research is carried out at the Orchid Male Cancer Research Centre, which is based at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
- Awareness and Education: Orchid runs a number of awareness and education campaigns to increase understanding of male cancers and promote early detection. These campaigns include the annual Male Cancer Awareness Week and the Big Check campaign.
- Support Services: Orchid provides a range of support services for men affected by cancer and their families. These services include a national male cancer helpline, a nurse-led service that provides information and support to anyone affected by male cancer.
