Panzi Hospital
Panzi Hospital is a renowned healthcare facility located in Bukavu, in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was founded in 1999 by Dr. Denis Mukwege, a Congolese gynecologist and human rights activist, to provide medical care to women who have been victims of sexual violence and other forms of gender-based violence.
