Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA) is a leading veterinary hospital located in Hertfordshire, England. It is part of the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and is named in honour of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother who opened the hospital in 1986.

The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother on 12th May 1986. The hospital was named in her honour as a tribute to her lifelong dedication to animal welfare and her support of the veterinary profession.

The QMHA is one of the largest and most advanced veterinary hospitals in Europe. It offers a wide range of services including emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and rehabilitation.

The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care and has a team of over 200 dedicated veterinary professionals. It also serves as a training ground for veterinary students and veterinary nurses from the Royal Veterinary College.
