Riligustilide

Riligustilide is a natural organic compound that is found in certain plants, including the Chinese herb Ligusticum chuanxiong. It is a member of the class of compounds known as phthalides, which are aromatic heterocyclic compounds containing a phthalide moiety.

Riligustilide has a chemical formula of C16H14O4 and a molecular weight of 270.28 g/mol. Its chemical structure consists of a benzene ring fused to a lactone ring, with two isopropyl groups attached to the benzene ring.

It has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and it may also have potential benefits for cardiovascular health.
