Rockaway Beach, Queens
Rockaway Beach, Queens is a neighborhood located in the New York City borough of Queens. It is situated on the Rockaway Peninsula, the southernmost part of Queens. The neighborhood is bounded by Jamaica Bay to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south.

Rockaway Beach was once a popular summer resort town, attracting visitors from all over the city and beyond. The area was incorporated into the city of New York in 1897. The neighborhood experienced a decline in the mid-20th century but has seen a resurgence in recent years, with new developments and a renewed interest in the area's natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

Rockaway Beach is located on a narrow strip of land between Jamaica Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The neighborhood is characterized by its sandy beaches, which are a popular destination for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. The area is also home to several parks, including the Rockaway Beach and Boardwalk and the Gateway National Recreation Area.

Rockaway Beach is served by the New York City Subway's A train, which provides direct service to Manhattan. The neighborhood is also accessible by ferry via the NYC Ferry's Rockaway route. In addition, several bus lines run through the area, providing connections to other parts of Queens and Brooklyn.

Rockaway Beach has a vibrant cultural scene, with a number of local restaurants, bars, and shops.
