Shaoxing
Shaoxing is a prefecture-level city located in the eastern province of Zhejiang, in the People's Republic of China. It is known for its rich history, traditional architecture, and its unique Shaoxing wine, a type of rice wine that is famous throughout China.

Shaoxing has a history that dates back to the Neolithic Age, with archaeological evidence suggesting that the area was inhabited as early as 4000 BC. During the Spring and Autumn period, it was the capital of the ancient state of Yue. The city is also known for being the birthplace of many notable figures in Chinese history, including the famous writer Lu Xun and the ancient philosopher Wang Yangming.
