Sisaket Hospital is the main hospital of Sisaket Province, Thailand. It is classified as a regional hospital under the Ministry of Public Health. The hospital has a CPIRD Medical Education Center that trains doctors for the College of Medicine and Public Health of Ubon Ratchathani University.

History[edit | edit source]

Khukhan Health Station was opened in 1908 to serve the citizens of Khukhan Province (now Sisaket Province). It was later renamed Sisaket Health Station when the province changed its name. During the First Indochina War and World War II, the hospital expanded as a military base was established in the area. On 1 December 1948, the health station was officially elevated to hospital level and renamed Sisaket Hospital. In 1998, the hospital entered into an agreement to train medical students and serve as a clinical teaching hospital for the College of Medicine and Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University under the CPIRD program.
