Bell began her career as a physical therapist, specializing in orthopedics and sports-related injuries. She gained recognition for her expertise in injury prevention and rehabilitation, which led to her transition into sports broadcasting.

In 2007, Bell joined ESPN as an injury analyst and senior writer. She provides in-depth analysis of player injuries for various ESPN platforms, including SportsCenter, NFL Live, and Fantasy Football Now. Bell also co-hosts the podcast Fantasy Focus Football.
