Taban Air

Taban Air is an airline based in Mashhad, Iran. It operates international, domestic and charter routes as a scheduled carrier. The airline's main base is Mashhad International Airport with further bases at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport and Abadan International Airport.

Taban Air was established in 2005 and started operations in 2006. The airline is owned by Captain Asghar Abdollahpour. The airline was established to provide additional capacity for Iran's booming tourism and oil-related industries.

Fleet[edit | edit source]

As of 2021, the Taban Air fleet includes Airbus A310, McDonnell Douglas MD-88, and Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline's fleet is regularly updated to ensure safety and efficiency.

Destinations[edit | edit source]

Taban Air operates to several domestic destinations within Iran, including Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz. The airline also serves international destinations such as Dubai, Istanbul, and Yerevan.

Incidents and accidents[edit | edit source]

Taban Air has had a few incidents in its history. The most notable was in 2010 when a Taban Air flight crashed during an emergency landing, resulting in injuries but no fatalities.
