The Children's Hospital of Winnipeg was established in 1909. It was initially located in a small house on William Avenue, but due to the increasing demand for pediatric healthcare services, the hospital moved to a larger facility on Aberdeen Avenue in 1911. In 1956, the hospital moved to its current location on William Avenue.
