Tranebjaerg Svejgaard syndrome is a rare condition that is characterized by intellectual disability, seizures and psoriasis.
Epidemiology[edit | edit source]
It has been reported in four male cousins.
Cause[edit | edit source]
The underlying genetic cause of the condition is currently unknown.
Inheritance[edit | edit source]
It is thought to be inherited in an X-linked manner.
Clinical presentation For most diseases, symptoms will vary from person to person. People with the same disease may not have all the symptoms listed.
30%-79% of people have these symptoms
- Intellectual disability(Mental deficiency)
- Psoriasiform dermatitis
- Seizure

Treatment[edit | edit source]
Treatment is based on the signs and symptoms present in each person and may include medications to control seizures.
