Wockhardt was founded in 1960 by Habil Khorakiwala as a small pharmaceutical company. Over the years, it has grown into a multinational corporation with a diverse portfolio of products in the healthcare sector.

Wockhardt's business operations are divided into three main segments: Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceuticals, and Vaccines. The company's pharmaceutical division produces a wide range of generic and branded drugs for various therapeutic areas such as cardiology, diabetes, neurology, and gastroenterology.
