Zaxby's
Zaxby's is an American chain of fast casual restaurants offering chicken wings, chicken fingers, sandwiches, and salads. The company was founded by Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley in Statesboro, Georgia in 1990.
History[edit | edit source]
Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley opened the first Zaxby's restaurant in Statesboro, Georgia in 1990. The two friends had been playing basketball and discussing their shared dissatisfaction with the lack of good chicken wing restaurants in the area. This led them to create a business plan for a restaurant that would fill this gap in the market.
The first Zaxby's was a success, and the company began to expand. By 1994, the company had grown to three locations, and the founders decided to start franchising. Today, Zaxby's has over 900 locations in 17 states, primarily in the Southern United States.
Menu[edit | edit source]
Zaxby's menu is centered around chicken. The chain is known for its chicken fingers and wings, which are served with a variety of nine sauces. The sauces range in flavor from sweet and tangy to intensely spicy.
In addition to chicken fingers and wings, Zaxby's also offers sandwiches, salads, and sides such as fries, onion rings, and Texas toast. The chain also offers a variety of milkshakes.
Reception[edit | edit source]
Zaxby's has been well received for its food quality and customer service. The chain has been recognized in numerous customer satisfaction surveys and has won several awards for its food.
