Residents work with multiple fellowship-trained dermatopathologists and fellowship-trained dermotologic surgeons.
Didactic schedule
The didactic schedule includes:
- weekly dermatopathology lectures,
- a comprehensive visiting lecturer program,
- journal clubs, surgical lectures,
- kodachrome sessions,
- monthly Grand Rounds and
- board review sessions.

Positions
Two residents per year are accepted
Transitional year
- Applicants who have not yet completed an internship are encouraged to consider applying for the transitional year
- Transitional year programs are offered by Kettering Medical Center (KMC) or Soin Medical Center (SMC).
- Matching with KMC or SMC is not a requirement for acceptance to this residency program
