Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) is a medical school located in Delhi, India. It is affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college was established in 2008 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) to address the need for more medical professionals in the Indian Army.

The Army College of Medical Sciences was established in 2008 by the Army Welfare Education Society. The college was set up with the aim of providing high-quality medical education to the children of serving and retired Indian Army personnel. The college is located in the Delhi Cantonment area and has a sprawling campus with state-of-the-art facilities.

Academics[edit | edit source]

ACMS offers a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course with a duration of five and a half years, including a one-year mandatory internship. The college has an annual intake of 100 students for the MBBS course. The admission to the college is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The college has a well-equipped library with a vast collection of books and journals. The college also has well-equipped laboratories, lecture halls, and hostels for both boys and girls. The college also has a hospital for the practical training of the students.
