BC Cancer Agency

BC Cancer Agency is a provincial organization responsible for cancer care in British Columbia, Canada. It provides a comprehensive cancer control program for the people of British Columbia by working with community partners to deliver a range of oncology services, including prevention, early detection, treatment and research.

The BC Cancer Agency was established in 1938 as the British Columbia Cancer Institute. Its mandate was to provide radiation therapy services, while also conducting research into the causes and cure for cancer. Over the years, the agency has expanded its services and now provides a full range of oncology services.
