Bertel Bruun
Bertel Bruun (November 13, 1937 – September 21, 2011) was a Danish-American neurologist, ornithologist, and conservationist. He is best known for his contributions to birdwatching and his efforts in wildlife conservation.

Bertel Bruun was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He developed an early interest in ornithology and natural history. Bruun pursued his medical studies at the University of Copenhagen, where he earned his medical degree. He later moved to the United States to further his career in neurology.
