Claire Weekes (11 April 1903 – 2 June 1990) was an Australian general practitioner and health educator known for her work in the field of anxiety disorders. She is best known for her books on dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, which have helped many people around the world.

Claire Weekes was born in Sydney, Australia. She attended the University of Sydney, where she initially studied science and later graduated with a degree in medicine. Weekes was the first woman to earn a Doctor of Science degree from the University of Sydney.
