Eduardo Mondlane University (Universidade Eduardo Mondlane - UEM) is the oldest and one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Mozambique. Named after Eduardo Mondlane, the founder of the FRELIMO movement that fought for the independence of Mozambique, the university has played a pivotal role in the education sector of the country since its inception.
