Labello
Labello is a brand of lip balm stick. It is produced by the Beiersdorf AG, a German personal-care company based in Hamburg. The term "Labello" comes from the Latin words "labium" (lip) and "bellus" (beautiful).
History[edit | edit source]
Labello was first introduced in 1909 and has since become a well-known lip care product in many countries worldwide, including parts of Europe, Canada, and Africa. The product was originally sold in a small tin until 1911 when the first sliding tube was introduced. This innovative packaging made Labello distinct from other lip care products of its time.
Products[edit | edit source]
Labello offers a wide range of products, each designed to meet different lip care needs. The product line includes, but is not limited to, Labello Original, Labello Hydro Care, Labello Med Protection, and Labello Sun Protect. Each variant has its unique formula and benefits. For instance, Labello Med Protection is formulated with Vitamin E and SPF 15 to protect lips from drying out and harmful UV rays, respectively.

The ingredients of Labello lip balms vary depending on the specific product. However, common ingredients include Petrolatum, Shea Butter, and Beeswax, which are known for their moisturizing and protective properties. Some products also contain SPF to provide sun protection.
