Southwest Asia, also known as Western Asia or the Middle East, is a region located at the intersection of Africa, Asia, and Europe. It is a part of the larger Asian continent and is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the west, the Indian Ocean to the south, and the Caspian Sea to the north.

Southwest Asia is characterized by a diverse range of geographical features. It includes vast deserts such as the Arabian Desert and the Syrian Desert, mountain ranges like the Zagros Mountains and the Taurus Mountains, and fertile river valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.
