Top Chef: Seattle is the tenth season of the American reality television series Top Chef. The season was filmed in various locations in Seattle, Washington, and premiered on Bravo on November 7, 2012. The season concluded on February 27, 2013, with Kristen Kish being declared the winner.
Format[edit | edit source]
The format of Top Chef: Seattle follows the same structure as previous seasons of Top Chef. Chefs compete in various culinary challenges, with one or more contestants eliminated each week. The challenges include the "Quickfire Challenge" and the "Elimination Challenge". The winner of the season receives a cash prize, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, and a showcase at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.

Quickfire Challenges test the chefs' skills and creativity under time constraints. The winner of a Quickfire Challenge often receives immunity from elimination or a special advantage in the Elimination Challenge.
Elimination Challenges[edit | edit source]
Elimination Challenges are more complex and require chefs to prepare dishes for a larger audience or under specific conditions. The losing chef(s) are eliminated from the competition.
Finale[edit | edit source]
The finale of Top Chef: Seattle took place in Los Angeles. Kristen Kish faced off against Brooke Williamson in a head-to-head cook-off. Kristen Kish emerged victorious, becoming the second female winner in the history of Top Chef.
