Victor Andre Matteson
Victor Andre Matteson (born 1872, died 1951) was an American physician and public health advocate known for his contributions to the field of tuberculosis control and sanitation. He played a significant role in the early 20th century efforts to improve public health standards in the United States.

Victor Andre Matteson was born in 1872 in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Chicago where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1894. He then pursued a medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1898.
