Yale Divinity School (YDS) is a professional school of Yale University, located in New Haven, Connecticut. It was founded in 1822 and is one of the oldest divinity schools in the United States. The school offers a variety of degree programs, including the Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), and Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.).

Yale Divinity School traces its roots back to the establishment of the Yale College in 1701, which was originally founded to educate Congregationalist ministers. The formal establishment of the Divinity School occurred in 1822, making it one of the earliest institutions dedicated to theological education in the United States.
