Jollibee is a multinational chain of fast food restaurants based in the Philippines. It was founded by Tony Tan Caktiong in 1975 and has since grown to over 1,300 locations worldwide. Jollibee is known for its unique menu offerings, which include a mix of Western fast food items and traditional Filipino dishes.

Jollibee was initially a two-branch ice cream parlor when it was established by Tony Tan Caktiong and his family in 1975. The business eventually shifted to serve hot meals and sandwiches upon the request of their customers, marking the birth of the fast food chain. The first official Jollibee outlet was opened in Quezon City in 1978.

Jollibee's menu is a mix of Western and Filipino favorites. They offer traditional fast food items such as burgers, fries, and fried chicken, known as Chickenjoy. They also serve Filipino dishes like palabok and adobo. One of their most popular items is the Yumburger, a burger made with a special sauce.

Jollibee has a significant international presence, with locations in countries such as the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, Brunei, Vietnam, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The company's aggressive international expansion is part of its "Everyday Joy" campaign, which aims to bring a taste of the Philippines to the world.
