New York College of Health Professions
New York College of Health Professions is a private, not-for-profit, accredited institution of higher learning located in Syosset, New York. The college offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of Holistic Health, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Herbal Medicine.

The New York College of Health Professions was founded in 1984 as the New Center for Wholistic Health Education and Research. It was one of the first colleges in the U.S. to offer a degree in Holistic Nursing. The college changed its name to the New York College of Health Professions in 1996 to reflect its broader range of academic programs.
Academics[edit | edit source]
The college offers a variety of degree programs in the field of holistic health. These include a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Holistic Care, a Master of Science in Acupuncture, and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. The college also offers certificate programs in Massage Therapy and Holistic Nursing.

The main campus of the New York College of Health Professions is located in Syosset, New York. The college also operates satellite locations in New York City and Long Island.

The New York College of Health Professions is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The college's acupuncture and Oriental medicine programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
