Paul Gascoigne
Paul Gascoigne (born 27 May 1967), commonly referred to as Gazza, is an English former professional footballer and football manager. He is widely regarded as one of the most talented English footballers of his generation.

Paul Gascoigne was born in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. He grew up in a working-class family and developed a passion for football at a young age. He joined the youth team of Newcastle United and quickly rose through the ranks.

Newcastle United[edit | edit source]
Gascoigne made his professional debut for Newcastle United in 1985. His performances quickly caught the eye, and he became known for his dribbling skills, vision, and creativity on the field.
Tottenham Hotspur[edit | edit source]
In 1988, Gascoigne transferred to Tottenham Hotspur for a then British record fee of £2.2 million. During his time at Tottenham, he won the FA Cup in 1991, although he suffered a serious knee injury in the final.
Lazio[edit | edit source]
Gascoigne moved to Lazio in 1992 for £5.5 million. His time in Serie A was marred by injuries, but he remained a fan favorite due to his skill and personality.
Rangers[edit | edit source]
In 1995, Gascoigne signed with Rangers in Scotland. He enjoyed a successful spell, winning two Scottish Premier League titles, a Scottish Cup, and a Scottish League Cup.

Gascoigne had brief stints with Middlesbrough, Everton, Burnley, Gansu Tianma, and Boston United before retiring from professional football.

Gascoigne earned 57 caps for the England national football team, scoring 10 goals. He is best remembered for his performances in the 1990 FIFA World Cup, where England reached the semi-finals, and UEFA Euro 1996, where he scored a memorable goal against Scotland.
