Amoebic brain abscess

An amoebic brain abscess is a brain abscess caused by amoebas. It is particularly serious in patients with immunodeficiency.[1] It is very rare; the first case was reported in 1849.[2]
It may be caused by Entamoeba histolytica.[2]
