Billy Sims Barbecue is a chain of barbecue restaurants founded by former American football player Billy Sims. The restaurant chain is known for its Oklahoma-style barbecue and has multiple locations primarily in the Midwestern United States.

Billy Sims Barbecue was established in 2004 by Billy Sims, a former running back who played for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League (NFL). Sims, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1978 while playing for the University of Oklahoma, decided to venture into the restaurant business after his football career.

He played professionally until a knee injury ended his career in 1984. Post-football, Sims transitioned into the restaurant industry, leveraging his fame and love for barbecue to create a successful chain of restaurants.
