Dashami is a significant day in the Hindu calendar and is observed as the tenth day of the Navaratri festival. It is also known as Vijayadashami or Dussehra in various parts of India. This day marks the victory of good over evil, symbolized by the triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana and the victory of Goddess Durga over the buffalo demon Mahishasura.
