Hyperadrenocorticism
Hyperadrenocorticism (also known as Cushing's Syndrome) is a condition characterized by the overproduction of the hormone cortisol by the adrenal glands. This condition can be caused by various factors, including a tumor in the pituitary gland or the adrenal glands, or long-term use of corticosteroid medications.
