Mediclinic International is a private hospital group primarily operating in South Africa, Namibia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. The company is headquartered in Stellenbosch, South Africa, and is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Mediclinic International was founded in 1983 by Dr. Edwin Hertzog. The company initially focused on the South African market but has since expanded its operations internationally. In 2007, Mediclinic acquired a controlling interest in the Swiss hospital group Hirslanden, significantly increasing its footprint in Europe. In 2016, Mediclinic merged with Al Noor Hospitals Group, further expanding its presence in the Middle East.

  • Mediclinic Southern Africa: This division manages hospitals and clinics in South Africa and Namibia.
