Mount Sinai West is a prominent hospital located in the New York City borough of Manhattan. Mount Sinai West was originally established in 1871 as the Roosevelt Hospital, named after James H. In 1997, the hospital merged with St. Luke's Hospital, forming the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. In 2013, the hospital became part of the Mount Sinai Health System and was renamed Mount Sinai West in 2015.
