Government Dharmapuri Medical College was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the leadership of the then Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi. The college was inaugurated on 15th July 2008 by the then Health Minister, Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss. Since its inception, the college has been committed to producing competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
