Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research institute that has emerged as one of the fastest-growing institutions of higher learning in India. It is a Deemed University that is spread across six campuses in three states of India - Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was founded in 2003 by the world-renowned humanitarian leader, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, also known as Amma. The foundation of the university was based on the vision to provide value-based education that would help in the development of knowledgeable and skilled professionals who are in tune with the modern world but are also deeply rooted in their values.
