Carlo Acutis (3 May 1991 12 October 2006) was an Italian Roman Catholic teenager who is best known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his work in cataloging Eucharistic miracles around the world. He was beatified by the Catholic Church in 2020.

Carlo Acutis was born in London, United Kingdom, to Italian parents who soon moved back to Milan, Italy. From a young age, Carlo showed a deep interest in the Catholic faith, attending Mass frequently and praying the Rosary daily. He was known for his cheerful disposition and his love for technology.
Devotion to the Eucharist[edit | edit source]
Carlo had a profound devotion to the Eucharist, which he referred to as his "highway to heaven." He believed in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and encouraged others to develop a similar devotion. His love for the Eucharist was central to his spiritual life.
Eucharistic Miracles Project[edit | edit source]
Carlo Acutis is most famous for his project of cataloging Eucharistic miracles. He used his computer skills to create a website that documented these miracles, making them accessible to a wider audience. This project was inspired by his desire to share the reality of the Eucharist with others.
