Chondrolysis

Chondrolysis [ICD Code M94.3
] is the process of breakdown of cartilage. It can occur due to effect of various anesthetic agents like bupivacaine, lidocaine, ropivacaine and levobupivacaine are all toxic to cartilage and their intra-articular infusions can lead to this toxic effect.[1]
