Christine P. Hendon
Christine P. Hendon is an American electrical engineer and academic known for her contributions to the field of biomedical engineering. She is an associate professor of electrical engineering at Columbia University.

Christine P. Hendon was born and raised in the United States. She pursued her undergraduate studies in electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then continued her education at Case Western Reserve University, where she obtained her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering.
Career[edit | edit source]
After completing her Ph.D., Hendon joined the faculty at Columbia University as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. She was later promoted to associate professor. Her research focuses on the development of optical imaging techniques for cardiovascular disease and breast cancer.

Hendon's research interests include optical coherence tomography (OCT), a non-invasive imaging technique used to capture high-resolution images of biological tissues.
