Midtown Manhattan is a central portion of the borough of Manhattan in New York, United States. It is home to some of the city's most iconic buildings, including the Empire State Building and the United Nations Headquarters. Midtown is the largest central business district in the world and is among the most intensely used pieces of real estate in the world.

Midtown Manhattan is bounded by 59th Street to the north, the Hudson River to the west, the East River to the east, and 14th Street to the south. It encompasses several smaller neighborhoods, including Times Square, Herald Square, Turtle Bay, and Hell's Kitchen.

Midtown Manhattan is known for its landmarks. The Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the United Nations Headquarters are among the most famous. Other notable landmarks include Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the New York Public Library, and Grand Central Terminal.

Midtown Manhattan is served by numerous New York City Subway lines, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus system, and Grand Central Terminal, which provides commuter rail service to suburbs in the New York metropolitan area. The Port Authority Bus Terminal provides intercity bus service.

Midtown Manhattan is a hub for the arts, with numerous museums, galleries, and performance venues. It is home to Broadway, the highest level of commercial theater in the English-speaking world. Other cultural institutions include the Museum of Modern Art, Carnegie Hall, and the New York Public Library.
