Averrhoa carambola
It is an East Indian, and Asian tree bearing deeply ridged yellow brown fruit, commonly known as star fruit or carambola.

Habitat
The Star-fruit producing plant is a woody plant in the family Oxalidaceae native to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka but also cultivated in many other parts of the world.
