The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is an operational arm of the United Nations dedicated to implementing projects for the UN system, international financial institutions, governments, and other partners around the world. Established in 1973, UNOPS provides infrastructure, procurement, and project management services to help its partners achieve their goals in sustainable development.

UNOPS was originally part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and became an independent, self-financing organization in 1995. Its mandate is to expand the capacity of the UN system and its partners to implement peacebuilding, humanitarian, and development operations.
