Superior (comics)
Superior is a fictional character and superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu. Superior first appeared in Superior #1, published in 2010.

Superior was created by Mark Millar, a well-known comic book writer, and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu. The series was published by Icon Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics that allows creators to retain ownership of their characters. The first issue of Superior was released in October 2010, and the series ran for seven issues, concluding in 2012.
Plot summary[edit | edit source]
The story of Superior follows a young boy named Simon Pooni, who is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Simon is granted a wish by an alien monkey named Ormon, who transforms him into Superior, a superhero with powers similar to those of Superman. As Superior, Simon experiences the life of a superhero, fighting crime and saving lives. However, he later discovers that Ormon is actually a demon who has given him these powers in exchange for his soul. Simon must then make a moral decision about whether to keep his powers or return to his former life.
